In this workshop you will discover tools and techniques from social media leaders who have found winning ways to connect and influence their target audience. Presenters are local leaders in social media. With the rise of Blogs, Facebook, and Twitter it’s important to have a presence on social networks and utilize applications that are achieving marketing and business objectives. It’s more important than ever to learn about and use this growing and influential medium. This hands on workshop will illustrate various ways to communicate with your target audience and the worldwide communication opportunities that exist.
The goal of the workshop is to teach small business owners and professionals how to practically implement social media tools to build social capital with customers.
Presenter Todd Beane, a Charleston native, has a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a minor in Public Relations from West Virginia State College. Currently, he is the Marketing Specialist for the Gus R. Douglass Land-Grant Institute of West Virginia State University. He handles public relations for the Institute, including external affairs, media relations, coordinating events, photography, and social media outreach.
