Volunteers are needed every day to save the lives of patients who depend on donated blood. If just an additional one percent of Americans gave blood regularly, there would be enough blood for medical care in communities across the country. The oral surgeons at Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery have partnered with The American Red Cross to host a Community Blood Drive to make sure that life-saving blood is available to all who need it. All donors will receive a special gift of a T-shirt and a stress ball! And because you’re all heroes, we’ve decided to make this a superhero-themed blood drive. Age: All blood donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission). Weight: All eligible donors must weigh at least 110 lbs. Health: Donors must be in good general health. Identification: Be sure to bring valid identification such as a driver’s license, DMV identification card, passport, etc.
